The first round of the 2015/16 Onroad Winter-Cup Series has started!
The classes which have been run were Touring Car Stock, Touring Car SuperStock, Touring Car Standard, M-Chassis, Formula 1 and 1/12 Stock. The race was very well organized from the local club MCRT-Aschaffenburg at the track of Hobby-Theke Aschaffenburg just like the years before!
As I took the overall win in 1/12 class last season I was really looking forward to the new season and having fun with my mates! Since the number of drivers has increased I was a bit nervous if I could make the win again. It was the very first race with my new XRAY X12'16 and I didn´t know which setup I would have to use. I decided to start with my normal basic setup and I was really satisfied from the first moment on!

The Qualifiying were run and Dirk Gündra (X12´16) was really fast in Q1 and beat me by about 0.3 sec. As I made too much setup changes and little driving mistakes in Q2-4 I wasn´t able to take back the lead.
In A1 I had some nice fights with Dirk as he started right in front of me and it wasn´t easy to overtake him even if I felt I had faster car. In the end I was able to take my advantage and won A1.
In A2 it was the same procedure and Dirk drove right in front of me. As I was able to push a bit more with my car I was a bit later off power at the end of the straight and crashed him. First I surely waited for him, but then I saw his car was broken so he told me to keep on driving. That wasn´t the way I wanted to fight with him because he is a good friend of mine. I took the overall win of Rd.1 with the lead in A1+A2.
